# BMPs de @RHSAFRF

Los BMP (*Boyevaya Mashina Pyekhoty, Vehículo de Combate de Infantería*) son una familia de vehículos que empezó a desarrollarse en los años 60 bajo requerimiento de la URSS de un vehículo capaz de transportar a la infantería de forma segura en un ambiente NBQR. Además, debían de estar equipados con armamento capaz de hacer frente a otros vehículos blindados.

De esta forma nace en 1967 el BMP-1, un vehículo anfibio impulsado por cadenas de perfil bajo con motor ubicado en la parte frontal, lo que deja espacio para alojar infantería en la parte trasera, y una torreta en el centro del casco.

Más tarde, en los años 80, aparecería el BMP-2, una versión que comparte chasis, motor, blindaje y ciertos sistemas con su antecesor pero incorpora una notable mejora de armamento.

Finalmente, en los años 90 se presentó el BMP-3 con la intención de sustituir al BMP-2, aunque no lo consiguió. Esta versión incorpora importantes mejoras en sistemas de ayudas al combate, así como nuevas mejoras en armamento.
